A Post About Toast
I decended the carpeted stairs, the sun glaring in from the open windows, my mind boggled over last night's dreams, and my eyes tight from left over sleep. I shuffled slowly into the kitchen and stumbled over the cat, searching fiercely for bread. Finally, I discovered it. Upon finding it, I desparately tried to undo the skinny tist tie that was locking the slices in their sleeve. I broke the bread free and delicately slid the slices into the toaster. The lever slid down like hot butter and the coils lit up, lightly borwning the bread. The two minutes it took to toast seemed like ages, my stomach growling in anticipation. The toasted bread gleefully sprang up and I easily smoothed butter onto the beautifully browned pieces. I crunched through with my teeth and my stomach settled into a satisfying warmth.
The End.
I hope you enjoyed it (:

New Dacade, New Blog Schedule
I am giving myself a new set of rules for my blog this year:
- I will blog atleast once per week.
- I will post atleast 2 "Quote Blogs" per month. I'm sad that I stopped those, they were fun to write.
So it's only two rules, but they're good ones in my opinion.
I also realize that I left a cliff hanger with my cactus story. Did Carlisle flourish? Did he die? Is he finally home?
The answers to these questions are: Yes, No, Yes.
Carlisle spent the summer and much of the fall in the living room with his brethren. He even got to go outside every once in a while!
He grew several new branches and has a small tuft of green "hair" on his top. Last month, Carlisle was returned to my desk, under a new lamp due to a furniture shift. He is doing wonderfully, but wishes I would clean my damn room. He also loves the purple beads I wrapped around his pot (:.

The Obligatory New Year's Resolution Blog Post
Resolutions:
- Read at least 20 books outside of school.
- Post more videos on YouTube! (Specifically for the 7AB)
- Be less lazy.
- Fall in love. (Or at the very least, get a boyfriend. This single life is lonely.)
Yes, some are cheesy. Yes, some are silly and obvious. Hopefully I can get them done.
Now to get started! Homework, anyone?
